391 m of CITIC Plaza, 106 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall, slender tower
The tower prints tall and slim, so slow the upper layers and keep cooling on to avoid a leaning top.
- Crisp vertical edges
Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep the long vertical edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
CITIC Plaza is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. CITIC Plaza takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About CITIC Plaza
CITIC Plaza is an office skyscraper with 80 stories in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou, in Guangdong, China. It rises 391 m (1,283 ft), a figure that includes the two antenna-like spires at its top. The tower was completed in June 1997 and was then the world's tallest concrete building and the tallest in China; it held the concrete record until the Trump Tower Chicago was completed.
CITIC Plaza belongs to a same-named complex that also includes two 38-story residential buildings. A train station nearby serves the busy railways linking Guangzhou with Shenzhen and Hong Kong, while the Tianhe Sports Center and a metro station also stand close by. Other tall buildings surround the tower, which is described as a symbol of Guangzhou's rise in wealth and importance.
The building is reached from Linhe West Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 3 and from the Zhujiang New Town Automated People Mover. It was designed by DLN Architects, its facade is glass, and its owner is CITIC Group. Its floors are given over to offices.
