439 m of the Guangzhou International Finance Center, 120 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A tall, slender tower
The tower is far taller than anything around it in this model, so its upper floors are the finest part. Print slowly with good cooling, and use layers of 0.12-0.16 mm to keep the vertical faces clean.
- One piece with the ground
The Guangzhou International Finance Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Guangzhou International Finance Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Guangzhou International Finance Center
Guangzhou International Finance Center is a 103-story skyscraper 438.6 m (1,439 ft) tall. It stands on Zhujiang Avenue West in Guangzhou's Tianhe District, Guangdong, and forms one of the two Guangzhou Twin Towers. The tower serves as a conference center, a hotel and offices. WilkinsonEyre designed it, ground was broken in December 2005, and the building was finished in 2010.
Offices fill floors 1 to 66, mechanical equipment takes floors 67 and 68, and a Four Seasons Hotel occupies floors 69 to 98, with its lobby on the 70th. The top two floors, 99 and 100, serve as an observation deck. A proposed Guangzhou East Tower would have stood taller, at 475 m (1,558 ft), but that project was awarded to a different design: the Guangzhou CTF Finance Center, 530 m (1,740 ft) tall, by Kohn Pedersen Fox. In 2012 the building received the RIBA Lubetkin Prize.
