Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A broad, low building

The museum spreads across its site with little height, so most of the model lies close to the ground. Print larger, or choose Full detail, to keep the wall edges and rooflines apart.

  2. Long walls, wide roof

The walls run long and the roof is broad and flat, and that is where a wide, low model shows its surface quality. Print slowly with steady cooling, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the wall edges clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Creation Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Creation Museum takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Creation Museum

The Creation Museum stands in Petersburg, Kentucky, in the United States. It presents the origin of the universe and of life on Earth through a literal reading of the Genesis creation story, a pseudoscientific strain of Young Earth creationism, and it is run by Answers in Genesis, a Christian creation apologetics organization. The museum opened on May 28, 2007, cost US$27 million and was paid for entirely out of private donations.

The building covers 75,000 square feet (7,000 m2), and besides its main collection it holds a planetarium, a special effects theater, an insect collection and an Allosaurus skeleton. As the headquarters of Answers in Genesis it has about 300 employees, and permanent staff sign a statement of faith that affirms belief in its principles. Its displays show humans and dinosaurs living side by side, present the Earth as roughly 6,000 years old and dispute the theory of evolution.

The museum has drawn criticism from scientists, educators and theologians, who say it misrepresents science and warn of damage to science education, and some Christians have worried that rejecting scientific consensus could hurt the credibility of Christianity. Scholars of museum studies have argued that creationist exhibitions of this kind are not museums at all in their view. The museum is controversial and has drawn wide commentary from cultural observers and from the museum community.

About this model

The Creation Museum is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
