335 m of DAMAC Residenze, 90 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall tower, fine facade
The tower rises well above the surrounding buildings, so print the upper floors slowly with cooling on. Print friendly detail keeps the facade clean at small sizes; Full detail suits a large print or a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
DAMAC Residenze is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. DAMAC Residenze takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About DAMAC Residenze
DAMAC Residenze is an 85-story residential skyscraper of 335 m (1,099 ft) in Dubai Marina, Dubai. The building looks out over the Palm Jumeirah. Its design comes from Aedas, whose architects treated the curvature of the tower as central to giving as many apartments as possible a view.
The tower stands in the marina's upper part, the most crowded district of Dubai Marina, with nine skyscrapers and about 10 more between 200 m and 300 m. Aedas added elements that widen the field of view and give the impression of more space between this tower and its neighbors.
In February 2013 the planned height of 420 m (1,378 ft) came down to 335 m (1,099 ft), while foundation work was under way and the piling had been completed. It follows Ocean Heights, also in Dubai Marina, as DAMAC Properties' second supertall project. The structure topped out in November 2015 and opened in July 2018.
