310 m of Ocean Heights (Dubai), 82 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slow printing for height
A slender high-rise is tall and narrow, so print it slowly with good cooling. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the vertical edges crisp.
- Detail at small sizes
At small print sizes the tower's surface detail can blur. Print friendly detail adapts small parts to the scale; choose Full detail for a larger print or a finer nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
Ocean Heights (Dubai) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ocean Heights (Dubai) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Ocean Heights (Dubai)
Ocean Heights is a supertall residential tower in Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower rises 310 m (1,017 ft) and has 83 floors. Andrew Bromberg of Aedas designed it, and the building was topped out on December 22, 2009, then completed in 2010.
Its silhouette is defined by curves and a twisting motion as the tower rises. The built tower is the third version of the design, proposed by DAMAC Properties; the first version called for 38 floors and the second for 50, both much shorter than the 83 floors that were built.
The tower holds more than 519 condominiums and stands on Al Sufouh Road, in Dubai Marina. Meinhardt Group was the structural engineer, and Arabtec served as the main building contractor. The project is classified as both a tower block and a skyscraper.
