  1. Tall tower, slow print

The model is a tall, narrow tower, so slow the outer walls and keep cooling on for a clean upper section. Print friendly simplifies the finest parts; Full detail suits a larger print.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Evolution Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Evolution Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Evolution Tower

The Evolution Tower is a 55-story office skyscraper on plots 2 and 3 of Moscow's MIBC. It stands 246 meters (807 ft) tall and covers a total of 169,000 square meters (1,820,000 sq ft). British architect Tony Kettle designed it with Karen Forbes, professor of art at the University of Edinburgh. In Moscow it is known for a futuristic shape compared to DNA, and its style is listed as neo-futurism.

The site was first intended for a skyscraper named the City Palace, or Wedding Palace, but that project was put on hold during the Great Recession; the office tower followed, with Turkish company Rönesans Holding as the planned general contractor. Construction began in 2011, and the tower was put into operation on October 6, 2014. Gazprombank arranged a 7-year credit line for the developer in August 2011. Transneft bought it in 2016 to establish its headquarters.
