Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Small station print

The station building is small at the default print size. Print it larger, or choose Print friendly detail, so its details stay legible.

  2. One piece with the ground

Frankfurt (Main) Süd station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Frankfurt (Main) Süd station takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Frankfurt (Main) Süd station

Frankfurt (Main) Süd is one of three railway stations in Frankfurt for long-distance trains. Unlike the Hauptbahnhof, it is a through station rather than a terminus, with nine tracks and five platforms. ICE and IC trains stop here on some routes, along with Regional-Express and RegionalBahn services, and it is one of the city's major rapid-transit hubs, served by S-Bahn and U-Bahn.

The station stands in Sachsenhausen, south of the Main. The current building opened in 1914 in a simplified Art Nouveau style, similar to the Höchst station of the same year. When the U-Bahn station was built, with work finished in 1984, almost the whole station building came down and was rebuilt afterward, and the old steel train shed was not replaced. The building includes a community center.

The station sits where the inner city meets the southern suburbs. S-Bahn lines S3 to S6, U-Bahn services on corridor A, and several tram and bus lines serve it, and city and regional buses run from the station toward the south and to Frankfurt Airport. A market is held on Diesterwegplatz, the forecourt, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
