7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Copper roof and portico
The wide roof has a thin projecting edge above an open entrance portico with round bastions. Print friendly adapts the thin fascia and piers; Full detail keeps them for a large print.
- Glazed entrance bays
Four tall glazed bays sit behind the portico, divided by fine mullions. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers and a larger print to keep the glazing bars and the relief frieze readable.
- One piece with the ground
The Gwalior Airport New Terminal is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Gwalior Airport New Terminal takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Gwalior Airport New Terminal
The New Terminal at Gwalior Airport stands beside the aerodrome in Gwalior, India. The terminal building and a new apron were built for Rs 426.22 crore, and the two commenced operation in August 2024. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the terminal on March 10, 2024, some months before the start of operations.
At peak hours the terminal has the capacity to handle about 1,400 passengers. Its design was inspired by the legendary maestros of Gwalior, by the wildlife of Madhya Pradesh, and by architectural elements from Man Singh Palace. Creative Group's scope on the project covered comprehensive architecture and engineering services, together with PMC.
