232 m of Heritage Plaza, 62 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Stepped crown at the top
The stepped top is the finest detail on a tower like this. A larger print size and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keep it crisp; slow printing with good cooling helps the tall part stay clean.
- One piece with the ground
Heritage Plaza is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Heritage Plaza takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Heritage Plaza
Heritage Plaza is a postmodern skyscraper in downtown Houston, Texas, in the area called the Skyline District. It stands 232 m (762 ft) tall, has 53 floors and was completed in 1987. It was designed by the Houston-based firm M. Nasr & Partners P.C. It was finished in the middle of a 1980s bust in Texas real estate, banking and oil, and it was Houston's newest major skyscraper for nearly 15 years, until 1500 Louisiana Street was completed in 2002.
The tower is well known for its central place in the skyline of the central business district and for the stepped granite feature on top, which resembles a Mayan pyramid. It was inspired by the architect's trip to the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, and the crown is also said to look like a bald eagle with spread wings. The lobby has Mexican influences as well, and the lower levels, which hold a large food court, contain a multi-level marble waterfall.
It has 1,150,000 square feet of leaseable space. Texaco leased 550,000 square feet in 1989 and kept its US headquarters there for 12 years. Heritage Plaza is among the handful of downtown Houston skyscrapers without a direct link to the Houston tunnel network, but a skyway connects it with the DoubleTree Hotel Houston-Allen Center.
About this model
Heritage Plaza is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
