  1. Spire and ornaments

A tower of this kind ends in a slender octagonal spire with small ornaments. Print friendly adapts thin parts and small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps every modeled feature for a larger print or a finer nozzle.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya

The Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya belongs to Moscow's Seven Sisters, a group of skyscrapers from the early 1950s built in a Stalinist neoclassical style. That style mixes Russian neoclassical forms with the look of American skyscrapers of the 1930s, and socialist realism art is one of its main elements. The hotel was completed in 1954, intended as Moscow's finest luxury hotel.

A lighting fixture on its staircase ranks among the longest anywhere; it earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records at one time, and the halls and corridors of the upper floors are paneled in dark cherry wood. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, a lounge, a spa and beauty salon, a fitness center with a swimming pool, a bureau de change, a gift shop, meeting rooms, a grand ballroom and a business center. Its tower dominates Komsomolskaya Square, with the Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky and Kazansky railway stations nearby. The hotel joined the Hilton chain in 2008 after a restoration and renovation.

The exterior shows medieval Russian architecture more strongly than other Stalinist skyscrapers. According to contemporaries, the white, red and gold coloring of the walls recalls the favorite colors of ancient Russian architecture, and the central section comes close to the Kremlin towers in style. A terem porch forms the main entrance, decorated with cornices of many corners, pinnacles, hanging weights and fanciful pediments. Gold covers the spire's octagonal ribs and emblem, the rosettes set between pylons, and the orbs atop the obelisks, while the interiors borrow from pre-Petrine palaces and churches.
