154 m of Hotel Arts, 42 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Exposed frame and braces
The tower's steel cage, corner ladders and X-braces are fine details around the glass. Use Full detail or a larger print so the frame stays distinct from the body.
- Roof plant and corner voids
The upper corners are open and a small mechanical enclosure rises above the roof. A finer layer height helps keep these top features and the floor bands readable.
- One piece with the ground
Hotel Arts is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hotel Arts takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Hotel Arts
Hotel Arts is a 44-story luxury hotel on Barcelona's seafront in Catalonia, Spain, looking out over the city's Olympic Marina. Bruce Graham of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the tower, which went up in time for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The building contains 483 rooms.
The hotel first opened as a 10-story building in 1992, then closed so construction could be completed. Work finished in 1994, and the completed tower, 154 meters tall, shows the high-tech style of architecture. In 1994 it became the Ritz-Carlton chain's first managed hotel in Europe.
Senior Architect Miguel Ruano led the design team, and Dr. Agustí Obiol was the local Architect of Record. Before the Olympics, the plan was for the Ritz-Carlton chain to manage it. The building is listed as a Cultural Asset forming part of the cultural heritage of Catalonia.
About this model
