About Torre Glòries
Torre Glòries, formerly known as Torre Agbar, is a 38-story skyscraper in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It stands near Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, with Avinguda Diagonal on one side and Carrer Badajoz on the other. The French architect Jean Nouvel worked alongside b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, a firm from Spain, on the design, and Dragados did the building. It was first named after its owner, the Agbar Group, and by 2017 it had been renamed after the adjacent square.
The tower rises 144.4 meters (473 ft 9 in) and is 39 m across, and it cost €130 million to build. Nouvel intended the shape to recall a geyser shooting into the air, and he drew inspiration from Montserrat, a mountain near Barcelona. Two oval concrete cylinders that never touch stand one inside the other. The outer one carries about 4,500 windows and is capped with a glass-and-steel dome that gives the tower its bullet shape, while the inner one holds the lifts, stairs and facilities.
Preparation of the site began in mid-1999, and construction continued until late 2004, with approximately 1170 workers involved. The tower opened in June 2005, and King Juan Carlos I opened it officially on September 16, 2005. After dark, more than 4,500 luminous LED devices can generate images on the outside, in a range of 16 million colors.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Rounded dome top
- The bullet-shaped tower closes in a smooth dome. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the curve smooth and help the many fine window lines show.
- Fine rows of windows
- Fine rows of window openings cover the whole tower. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
- Torre Glòries is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Torre Glòries takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Torre Glòries is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Torre Glòries STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Torre Glòries grows with the print: about 41 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
