Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Ornament at mansion scale

The house carries rocaille decoration along its classical front, and those details shrink fast. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail, or a larger print, keeps them readable.

  2. Layers for the trim

The classical facade and its rocaille ornament are the small details here. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the trim crisp, and printing slowly helps the fine edges come out clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Hôtel Biron – Musée Rodin is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Hôtel Biron – Musée Rodin takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Hôtel Biron – Musée Rodin

The Musée Rodin is a Paris art museum, opened in 1919 and given over mainly to Auguste Rodin's sculpture. There are two sites: the mansion called the Hôtel Biron with its grounds in the center of Paris, and Rodin's former home, the Villa des Brillants, just outside the city at Meudon in Hauts-de-Seine. The mansion, once known as the Hôtel Peyrenc de Moras, went up in the Rue de Varenne from 1727 to 1732 in classical lines with rocaille ornament.

From 1908 Rodin worked in the Hôtel Biron; he took four rooms on the ground floor as studios at first, then the entire house from 1911. He offered the French State all his sculpture, plus paintings he owned by Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir, on condition that the house and grounds became a museum of his work, asking only to live there for the rest of his life.

The collection runs to 6,600 sculptures and 7,000 objets d'art. Most of Rodin's major work is here, The Kiss, The Thinker and The Gates of Hell among the pieces, and many of the sculptures stand outdoors in the extensive garden. A room is devoted to Camille Claudel, and the museum owns one of two castings of The Mature Age. Behind the building are a small lake and a casual restaurant. In 1926 the house was listed as a historical monument.
