Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A broad arena roof

An arena is a wide, low building, so fine detail is limited by its size on the plate. Full detail keeps every modeled feature on a larger print; Print friendly suits smaller ones.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Ice Palace (Saint Petersburg) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Ice Palace (Saint Petersburg) takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Ice Palace (Saint Petersburg)

The Ice Palace (Ledovy Dvorets in Russian) stands in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as an arena constructed to host the 2000 IIHF World Championship. It opened in April 2000 and holds 12,300 people. Russia's men's national ice hockey team is also listed among its occupants.

Ice hockey is its main use. SKA Saint Petersburg used it as its home arena from 2005 to 2024, then moved into the SKA Arena. After only one season there, the team came back to the Ice Palace for a time. The IIHF European Champions Cup was hosted here in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Beyond hockey, the building serves as a skating rink and a venue for concerts and exhibitions. The roll of performers who have played the arena is long, and includes Whitney Houston, Elton John, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Björk and Cher, among many others.
