Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A low, wide complex

The headquarters is low and spread across its site rather than rising like a tower. Print friendly adapts the small windows and roof details; a larger print keeps the layout clear.

  2. Layers for roof detail

The roofline and window rows are shallow. Use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers if you choose Full detail, and print slowly on any thin edge.

  3. One piece with the ground

Institut national de l'audiovisuel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Institut national de l'audiovisuel takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Institut national de l'audiovisuel

The Institut national de l'audiovisuel, or INA, serves as the national repository for French radio and television archives. It also offers free access to archives from countries such as Afghanistan and Cambodia, and its headquarters are in Bry-sur-Marne, France. Since 2006, ina.fr has allowed free online consultation, and its search tool indexes 100,000 historical program archives, totaling 20,000 hours.

A 1974 law split the ORTF into seven separate organizations and created the institute in 1975. Television and radio were added to legal deposit in 1992, with the institute as depository, and this led to the Inathèque in 1995. The Inathèque began serving visitors in October 1998, at the François-Mitterrand site of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

Its duties are conserving audiovisual archives, researching them, and professional training. Since September 2006 its remit has covered 17 radio services and 45 television services, some 300,000 hours every year. During the 1990s the institute started its own label, INA mémoire, as a historical recording label for INA and the archives of Radio France.
