5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Pediment reliefs at small scale
The pediment reliefs and the window and cornice moldings carry the finest detail on a palace of this kind. Print friendly adapts them for a small print, while a larger print or 0.12 mm layers keeps the relief readable.
- One piece with the ground
The Krasiński Palace is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Krasiński Palace takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Krasiński Palace
The Krasiński Palace, also called the Palace of the Commonwealth, stands on Krasiński Square in Warsaw. Jan Dobrogost Krasiński, voivode of Płock and a royal clerk, commissioned it, and it was erected between 1677 and 1683 to a design by Tylman van Gameren. It is a Baroque palace; World War II left it heavily damaged, and it was rebuilt in the middle of the 20th century.
Krasiński came from old Mazovian nobility and inherited a large fortune. He wanted a residence in the capital grand enough to serve his political ambitions, and he cultivated a 16th-century legend that traced his family to an ancient origin and to royal blood. The pediment reliefs show the triumph of Manius Valerius Maximus Corvinus Messalla, the Roman commander named in that legend, and the sculptural work is by Andreas Schlüter.
Krasiński knew French culture and architecture well and looked for French artists to carry out the work, keeping a detailed account book of the construction. Van Gameren was Dutch by origin and had been educated in Italy before the Lubomirski family brought him to Poland. The National Library of Poland has occupied the palace since 1961.
