8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Star-shaped villa plan
The villa's six-pointed plan leaves narrow points that can be fragile at small sizes. Print friendly adapts those tips to the print scale; Full detail is better for a large print.
- Layer height for the points
The star points are the sharpest part of the silhouette. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep their vertical edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
Letohrádek Hvězda is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Letohrádek Hvězda takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Letohrádek Hvězda
Letohrádek Hvězda takes its English name, Star Villa or Star Summer Palace, from its six-pointed plan. The Renaissance building lies in Prague, in the Czech Republic, inside a game reserve that shares its name, in Liboc, part of Prague 6, roughly 7 km (4 mi) west of the city center.
King Ferdinand I founded the surrounding game reserve in 1530, and twenty-five years later he commissioned Ferdinand II, his younger son and the Archduke of Austria, to construct the villa. The Archduke laid the foundations alone on June 27, 1555, and work on the villa was finished three years later.
Its plan forms a six-pointed star, which gives both the building and the reserve their shared name. Since 1962 the reserve, the villa and the site of the Battle of White Mountain nearby have been a national cultural monument. The villa is open to the public, holds a model of that battle in its basement and hosts exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events.
