About the Little Church of the West
In Paradise, Nevada, on the Las Vegas Strip, stands the Little Church of the West, a wedding chapel. It is made of redwood and was intended as a copy of a typical church in a pioneer town. No other building on the Las Vegas Strip is older. It carries a listing on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, the only building on the Strip to have one.
The chapel opened on May 22, 1943, built as one piece of the Hotel Last Frontier complex. In 1954 it was shifted from the hotel's north side to its south side. In 1979 the Fashion Show Mall needed its site, so the chapel went to the Hacienda hotel-casino grounds. By December 1996 the Hacienda had closed and been torn down, so it moved again, to the Strip's east side, south of what became Mandalay Bay.
Its National Register listing dates to September 14, 1992, and its style is Gothic Revival. The church also appears on screen: it has a role in the film Viva Las Vegas (1964), where Elvis Presley's and Ann-Margret's characters say their vows there.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- A slender steeple
- The small bell tower ends in a thin spire and cross. Print at a larger size or choose Full detail, print slowly with cooling, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep the tip crisp.
- Fine board siding
- The walls show narrow vertical boards and small windows. Print friendly keeps them printable at small sizes; bigger prints show more of the texture.
- One piece with the ground
- The Little Church of the West is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Little Church of the West takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a Little Church of the West STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. The Little Church of the West grows with the print: about 3 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
