About Lusail Stadium
Lusail Stadium is a football stadium in the city of Lusail, Qatar, about 20 kilometers (12 mi) north of Doha. The Qatar Football Association owns it. It has the largest capacity of any stadium in the Middle East, Qatar included. It was one of eight stadiums constructed to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and it staged the final between Argentina and France on December 18, 2022. It was inaugurated on September 9, 2022; the Lusail Super Cup game marked the occasion.
A joint venture of HBK Contracting with China Railway Construction Corporation was the builder. Construction began on April 11, 2017, and completion was originally scheduled for 2020. Like the other stadiums planned for the 2022 World Cup, solar power cools it, and a zero carbon footprint is claimed for it. On August 16, 2022, it received a five-star rating from the GSAS for its design and construction.
The Lusail Super Cup game, between Al Hilal and Zamalek, drew 77,575 fans and ended in a 1–1 draw, with Al Hilal winning 4–1 on penalties. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup the stadium hosted ten matches, the final among them. The 2023 AFC Asian Cup opened and ended here, as the stadium staged both its opening match and its final. It was also the venue for the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup final.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 22 mm | 1:4,063 |
| 200 mm | 28 mm | 1:3,250 |

- Triangular facade openings
- Many small triangular openings pierce the stadium's outer skin. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps every opening on a larger print.
- A ribbed sweeping roof
- Fine ribs cross the sloping roof ring. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the ribs crisp, and a larger print size gives them more room.
- One piece with the ground
- Lusail Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Lusail Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Lusail Stadium is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Lusail Stadium STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Lusail Stadium grows with the print: about 22 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
