  1. Facade and roofline detail

The facade and roofline carry the finest detail on a building of this size. Print it larger or choose Full detail, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers so vertical edges stay crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Maisel Synagogue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Maisel Synagogue takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Maisel Synagogue

The Maisel Synagogue stands in Prague's former Jewish quarter, in Czechia. Mordechai Maisel, a businessman and benefactor of the ghetto, obtained the building site in 1590 and a privilege from Emperor Rudolf II a year later to build his own synagogue. The design by Judah Coref de Herz was carried out by Josef Wahl, and the synagogue was consecrated in 1592. It is owned by the Jewish Community of Prague and run by the Jewish Museum in Prague.

For a century after its consecration it was the ghetto's largest and most impressive building. Fires in 1689 and 1754 damaged it, and the reconstruction after the first fire cost the synagogue a third of its length. It was rebuilt in 1864 to a plan by J. W. Wertmüller and later remodeled in the Gothic Revival style under the architect Alfred Grotte. A reconstruction between April 2014 and June 2015 restored decorative elements to how they looked at the start of the 20th century.

When the Nazis occupied the Czech lands, the synagogue stored property belonging to Czech Jewish communities. After World War II it became a depository for the Jewish Museum in Prague, and from 1965 to 1988 it housed an exhibition of silver Judaica. It opened to visitors again in 1996 with an exhibition on Jewish history in the Czech lands.
