Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. City block at print scale

A conference building on a city street is best printed large enough to separate it from its neighbors. Print friendly adapts small details at the default size.

  2. Layer height for wall edges

A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps straight wall edges and rooflines crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Maison de la Chimie is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Maison de la Chimie takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Maison de la Chimie

The Maison de la Chimie is an international conference center in Paris's 7th arrondissement. Its address is 28, Rue Saint-Dominique, in the Faubourg Saint-Germain, close to the National Assembly. A nonprofit foundation runs the house with the aim of helping scientists and engineers who work in chemistry, chiefly through meetings, colloquia and conferences.

The building also gives office space to associations in scientific and technological fields, and the Société Astronomique de France had its headquarters there from 1966 to 1974. Its halls and rooms are rented for meetings on subjects outside chemistry as well, which makes up most of the activity. The central position, close to the National Assembly and several ministries, means it is often chosen for meetings with elected officials.
