98 m of the Memphis Pyramid, 27 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Pointed apex and balconies
The four roof faces meet at a fine point, with a glazed triangular cap and two projecting balconies below it. Print friendly adapts these small parts; Full detail or a larger print keeps them readable.
- Long, smooth faces
Each face is a long slope with shallow horizontal seams and a battered base. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the seams and base terraces stay crisp, and slow the print near the tip.
- One piece with the ground
The Memphis Pyramid is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Memphis Pyramid takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Memphis Pyramid
The Memphis Pyramid is a pyramid-shaped building beside the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. It opened in 1991 as an arena with 20,142 seats, and its form echoes the Egyptian city that shares the name Memphis. The structure rises 321 feet (98 m), roughly 32 stories, and its base sides measure 591 feet (180 m); some measures place it tenth among the world's tallest pyramids.
Memphis and Shelby County shared ownership and operation until April 2009, when the county sold out to the city. The Memphis men's basketball team from the University of Memphis used the arena from 1991, and the Memphis Grizzlies arrived from Vancouver in 2001; both departed in November 2004 for the FedExForum. It has not been a regular sports or entertainment venue since 2007.
A Bass Pro Shops megastore took over the building in 2015, adding retail space, restaurants, a bowling alley, a hotel, and an archery range. The outdoor observation deck near the apex is open to visitors, and Ducks Unlimited also runs a museum inside the store on waterfowl hunting and wetlands conservation.
About this model
The Memphis Pyramid is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
