A wide, low building like this benefits from a larger print size, which keeps small details such as roof lines and windows. Choose Full detail for large prints or Print friendly for small ones.
- One piece with the ground
The Menshikov Palace (Saint Petersburg) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

About the Menshikov Palace (Saint Petersburg)
The Menshikov Palace is a Petrine Baroque building on Vasilyevsky Island in Saint Petersburg, standing along the Bolshaya Neva on Universitetskaya Embankment. Founded in 1710, the palace was a residence for Alexander Menshikov, Governor General of Saint Petersburg. It was built by the Italian architect Giovanni Maria Fontana and, later, the German architect Gottfried Johann Schädel. It opened in 1711.
Building work went on until 1727, with help from Domenico Trezzini and Bartolomeo Rastrelli, as well as Jean-Baptiste Le Blond and Georg Johann Mattarnovy. That year Menshikov and his family were sent into exile in Siberia, and his property was confiscated. From 1731 the First Cadet Corps occupied the palace and neighboring buildings. After a restoration lasting from 1956 to 1981, it became a public museum, a Hermitage Museum branch holding Russian art of the late 17th and early 18th century.
