Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Print this one larger

At the default size the mosque is small. A larger print, with layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm, gives the building clearer edges and surface detail.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Mesquita Brasil is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Mesquita Brasil takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Mesquita Brasil

Mesquita Brasil, whose name means Mosque Brazil, stands in Cambuci, a central district of São Paulo. It is Brazil's oldest mosque and among the oldest in South America, built as the first Brazilian mosque. São Paulo's Muslim Beneficent Society built it, and the community first gathered for prayers in rented rooms in the city. The society that built it was formed by immigrants from the Middle East.

The mosque dates from the 1920s, when Muslim immigrants, fleeing troubles in the Middle East, reached São Paulo after World War I. In 1927 Palestinian immigrants formed the Palestinian Muslim Charitable Society, renamed the Muslim Beneficent Society in 1929 as more people arrived from Syria and Lebanon. The society bought land in 1938 and moved to its present premises on Avenida do Estado in 1940. The building work stretched over many years, and the mosque opened officially in 1960, with Arab and Brazilian officials present.
