191 m of the Miami Tower, 51 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tier setbacks and bands
The office floors step back in three curved tiers, wrapped in continuous horizontal bands. Print friendly adapts the fine band relief; a larger print or Full detail keeps the setbacks crisp.
- Open garage levels
The parking garage beside the tower has open slab levels. Print larger, or use Full detail, if you want those open levels to stay clear.
- One piece with the ground
The Miami Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Miami Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Miami Tower
The Miami Tower stands in downtown Miami, Florida, a 47-story office skyscraper once called the CenTrust Tower and the Bank of America Tower. Its three glass tiers and elaborate illuminations after dark are what it is known for, and it reaches 625 feet (191 m). Pei Cobb Freed & Partners designed the building.
The tower was built for CenTrust Bank and dates from 1987. Two separate structures make up the tower: the city owns a 10-story parking garage, and the 47-story office tower stands on that garage's air rights. The tower's preliminary planning began in February 1980, the garage was finished in February 1983, and tower construction began a year later. A five-alarm fire on the ninth floor in August 1984 caused weeks of delay, and opening came in February 1987.
The complex included the Knight Center station, an elevated metro stop built into the skyscraper and the only one of its kind in the world. A skylobby on the 11th floor and an outdoor terrace of 10,000 sq ft (930 m2) were part of the complex. The building took the Miami Tower name on January 1, 2010, and a $1.5 million LED system followed in 2012.
About this model
The Miami Tower is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
