233 m of the Southeast Financial Center, 63 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Sawtooth corners and crown
The model keeps the zigzag north and east edges and the stepped upper terraces. Print friendly adapts these thin edges; Full detail is better for a large print or a fine nozzle.
- Window grid at small size
The square window bays have slim center mullions and transoms. A larger print or 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keeps the grid crisp on the tower faces.
- One piece with the ground
The Southeast Financial Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Southeast Financial Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Southeast Financial Center
The Southeast Financial Center rises 55 stories in Miami's Central Business District, Florida. Its roof stands at 233 m (765 ft). The tower belongs to a two-acre complex that also holds a 15-story garage. More than 500 workers spent three years constructing it. Some 6,650 tons of structural steel and 80,000 cubic yards of concrete went into it.
At its topping out in August 1983, no building in the region south of Pittsburgh and east of the Mississippi River stood taller. That distinction had belonged to Atlanta's Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel. The tower stayed the tallest in the southeastern United States until 1987, and the tallest in Miami and Florida until October 1, 2003.
First Union Financial Center and Wachovia Financial Center were earlier names. The Southeast Financial Center name returned in 2011, when Wachovia merged with Wells Fargo and shifted to the nearby Wells Fargo Center. Concrete-encased steel columns and beams form a composite frame, and 150 concrete caissons support the complex.
