Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Station detail at print scale
At small print sizes the station's finer detail softens first. Print it larger, or choose Full detail, with 0.12–0.16 mm layers.
- One piece with the ground
The Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station
Milano Porta Garibaldi is a major railway station in Milan, Italy, just north of the Porta Garibaldi neighborhood. It is the city's main commuter station, with 25 million passengers a year, though Milano Centrale has more passengers overall. The station stands on Piazza Sigmund Freud.
Garibaldi station dates from 1961; three older stations named Porta Nuova had opened in the area between 1840 and 1931. Its construction was part of an ambitious plan for a business center that remains largely uncompleted. In 1966 it gained a connection through the Garibaldi Tunnel to Mirabello junction, plus links to the Monza line and the belt line, so every regional Ferrovie dello Stato line could reach it.
Porta Garibaldi has 12 terminal platforms facing north-west and 8 through platforms that run to the Garibaldi Tunnel. A passantino link also connects it to Milano Centrale, and two underground platforms serve the Milan Passante railway. Two skyscrapers, the Garibaldi Towers, top the station; after a complete restyling they house the offices of Maire Tecnimont.
