Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A long, low station

A long, low station reads through its wide roofline rather than height, so choose a print size that keeps the outline clear; 0.12–0.16 mm layers help horizontal edges.

  2. Tracks and platforms

Many slender columns and roof details can merge at small sizes; Print friendly adapts them to the print scale, while Full detail suits a large print.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Napoli Centrale railway station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Napoli Centrale railway station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Napoli Centrale railway station

Napoli Centrale is the principal railway station for Naples and for southern Italy. It stands beside Piazza Garibaldi, east of the old city, and serves as the city's main rail terminus for Trenitalia national trains and EAV. Below the mainline station is an underground section called Stazione di Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, used by metro lines 1 and 2 and by several EAV Circumvesuviana lines, with entrances inside the station, in glass outside, and from the new Garibaldi Square.

A first station was built here in 1866, designed by the architect Enrico Alvino, and the station opened on May 7, 1867. Seven architects designed the present building in 1954, among them Pier Luigi Nervi and Giuseppe Vaccaro. It stands where the old station stood, overlooking the square dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi. Work was completed in 1960.

A deep restyling that lasted five years finished in August 2010, covering the platforms and the underground floor. It brought new escalators, elevators, lights, benches and shops, and replaced the original black linoleum floors with white tile. The station has 23 tracks, numbered 2 to 24. High-speed trains connect it with Rome, and traditional and high-speed lines link it with Salerno and southern Italy.
