11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Print the building large
Large institutional buildings carry much of their detail in the walls and roofline. Print it larger, or use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep the vertical faces crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The National Library of Poland is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The National Library of Poland takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the National Library of Poland
The National Library of Poland answers directly to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Its main building sits in the Ochota district of Warsaw, beside the Mokotów Field. The institution grew out of the Załuski Library of 1732 and took its modern form in 1928, opening in 1930 with 200 thousand volumes. Planners intended a purpose-built home on the Mokotów Field before World War II, but the conflict held up construction.
Its collections cover books and journals, electronic and audiovisual material issued in Poland, and Polish works published abroad. The library is the country's leading humanities research center and holds the main archive of Polish writing; it also serves as the state's bibliographic information center for books. Legal deposit brings it a copy of each book published in Poland. Only the Jagiellonian Library shares national library status with it. The shelves hold 10.6 million volumes, making it the world's 33rd largest library.
War brought heavy losses. After the Warsaw Uprising, in 1944, the Nazi occupiers burned the special collections, including 80,000 early printed books, 26,000 manuscripts, and 2,500 incunables, plus 100,000 drawings and engravings and 50,000 pieces of sheet music. An estimated 3.6 million volumes disappeared from Warsaw's major libraries during World War II, out of more than six million held in 1939, a large share of them from the National Library.
About this model
The National Library of Poland is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
