Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Dense historic block

A large historic building has many small details. A bigger print size keeps them; Print friendly adapts thin parts, while Full detail keeps every modeled feature.

  2. One piece with the ground

The National Library of the Czech Republic is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The National Library of the Czech Republic takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the National Library of the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic's national library is its central library and answers to the Ministry of Culture. Its main building is the historical Clementinum in the center of Prague, which holds roughly half of the books; the remainder is kept in the district of Hostivař. No other library in the Czech Republic is larger, holding around 6 million documents. Though the texts are mostly Czech, it also keeps older material that comes from India, Iran and Turkey, and it holds the books of Charles University in Prague.

The story begins in the 13th century, when a Studium generale school was founded within the Old Town monastery of the Dominicans in Prague. In 1556 Jesuit monks put up a boarding school called Clementinum over what was left of the monastery. From 1622 the Jesuits also managed Charles University, and the libraries of both were housed in the Clementinum. Maria Theresa declared the library the Imperial-Royal Public and University Library in 1777.

The library was given its present name in 1990, and in 1996 it inaugurated the Central Depository in Hostivař, a new storage building. Two of its most precious medieval manuscripts are the Passional of Abbes Kunigunde and the Codex Vyssegradensis. Digitization work started in 1992, and the library did pioneering work on digitization standards.

About this model

The National Library of the Czech Republic is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
