5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Colonnades and roof statues
A palace of this kind carries thin columns and small figures along the roofline. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale, and a larger print keeps the portico and balustrade legible.
- Low wings, fine cornices
The building spreads wide and low, so layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help the cornice lines and window surrounds stay sharp.
- One piece with the ground
The Palace on the Isle is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Palace on the Isle takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Palace on the Isle
The Palace on the Isle, sometimes called the Baths Palace, is a classicist building in Warsaw, Poland. It occupies an artificial island in the Royal Baths Park, the largest park in the city, which spreads over more than 76 hectares of the city center. The island splits the lake in two, with a smaller northern portion and a larger southern one, and two bridges on Ionic colonnades join the palace to the park.
Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski held the estate from 1674 and ordered a Baroque bath-house, known as a Łazienka, to be built there. Work on the marble structure followed a design by Tylman Gamerski and was complete in 1689; the building was meant to work as a bathing house, a livable pavilion and a garden grotto. Profuse stucco decorated the rooms, and water deities surrounded the fountain outside. King Stanisław August Poniatowski bought the estate in 1766 and made the pavilion a classicist summer home with an English garden, with Domenico Merlini handling a remodeling that ran from 1764 to 1795.
Giant Corinthian pilasters carry an entablature linking the two floors, and statues of mythological figures stand on the balustrade above. A pedimented portico marks the center of the north front, while the south front has a deep recess set behind Corinthian columns. Retreating German forces wrecked the interior during World War II and drilled holes for explosives, yet the building survived. It is a museum.
