  1. Colonnade and facade lines

A building of this kind reads through its facade lines at small scale. Use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers, and choose Print friendly if the columns get thinner than your nozzle can hold.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Palais Brongniart is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Palais Brongniart takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Palais Brongniart

The Palais Brongniart is a neoclassical building in central Paris, on Place de la Bourse, within the 2nd arrondissement. Napoleon ordered the building as a home for the Paris stock exchange, the Bourse de Paris, in the early 19th century. It takes its name from its first architect, Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart; he died in 1813, before the work was finished.

Brongniart designed a rectangular neoclassical plan in the manner of a Roman temple, its giant Corinthian colonnade wrapping a central chamber that is vaulted and lined with arcades. Napoleon admired the scheme and awarded him the commission. The building went up to Brongniart's designs from 1808 to 1813, and Éloi Labarre completed it from 1813 to 1826, altering the designs further. It drew later criticism for academic dullness.

Two lateral wings were added from 1901 to 1905 by Jean-Baptiste-Frederic Cavel, giving the building a cruciform plan. The trading floor moved out in 1987, and the last financial institution left in 2004. The palace is used as an events center, and its main trading room is decorated with medallions naming the other European stock exchanges of the period.
