About the Pinball Hall of Fame

In Las Vegas, Nevada, the Pinball Hall of Fame operates as a nonprofit museum where visitors play the machines themselves. The Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club runs the project, which displays pinball tables, arcade games and novelty machines of every era. Volunteers staff it entirely, and any excess revenue is given to the Salvation Army.

Tim Arnold began raising money for the project in 1990 by selling videos about pinball repair and hosting pinball nights at his house, where his large collection had started with a first machine bought in 1972. He lived in Michigan at first, and by the early 1990s the collection was in Las Vegas. The museum first opened in 2006 on East Tropicana Avenue with roughly 200 pinball machines plus classic video and arcade games, and it moved to another East Tropicana address in late 2009.

In 2020 the museum announced a move to 4925 S Las Vegas Blvd, a purpose-built warehouse of 28,000 square feet meant to hold the entire collection, over 700 games. It opened there on April 15, 2021, and held its official grand opening on July 1, 2021.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 4 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 5 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 7 mm 1:2,344

Lettering on one wall
Large lettering is carved into one wall of the building. Print friendly adapts shallow lettering to the print scale, while Full detail keeps it on larger prints.
Plain box, small roof units
The building is a simple low box with a few small units on the flat roof. A bigger print size keeps those roof details distinct.
One piece with the ground
The Pinball Hall of Fame is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Pinball Hall of Fame takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

The Pinball Hall of Fame is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there a Pinball Hall of Fame STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. The Pinball Hall of Fame grows with the print: about 4 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
