5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Long station front
A long station front and low wings can lose their roof edge on a small print. Print friendly adapts fine parts to the scale, and a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps vertical faces crisp.
- Two building heights
The historic front and the later terminal are very different in height. A larger print keeps both readable, and Full detail preserves the smaller facade features for a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
Praha hlavní nádraží is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Praha hlavní nádraží takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Praha hlavní nádraží
Praha hlavní nádraží is the largest station in Prague and the Czech Republic's largest Art Nouveau monument. It opened in 1871 as the Franz Josef Station, named for Franz Joseph I of Austria. Between 1945 and 1948 it was known as Wilson Station, after the former American president Woodrow Wilson. Its original building, with two towers and a coffered hall, was designed in a Renaissance Revival style by Vojtěch Ignác Ullmann with Antonín Viktor Barvitius.
The station was rebuilt in the early twentieth century. Josef Fanta designed its Art Nouveau building and hall, which date from 1901 to 1909 and replaced the earlier Neo-Renaissance station. The dome above the main part is decorated with Art Nouveau patterns and with sculptures of Czech cities by Stanislav Sucharda and Ladislav Šaloun. In 1905–1906 the railway yard gained a steel arched hall of two naves, 233 m long, 18 m high and spanning 2 x 33.3 m.
Underground passages were added with the new building. A terminal building followed between 1972 and 1979, with a metro station below ground and a main road across the roof. The metro station began operating on May 9, 1974, and the station is served by Prague Metro Line C. The road cut the historic hall off from the city around it, and the newer terminal took a large part of the park in front of the station.
