70 m of the Rathaus Schöneberg, 20 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tower details
The tower is the tallest part of the building and carries most of the model's detail. Print friendly adapts its openings and edges at small sizes; Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a finer nozzle.
- Layers on the tower
The tower's vertical faces and its roofline show layer lines first. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Rathaus Schöneberg is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Rathaus Schöneberg takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Rathaus Schöneberg
The Rathaus Schöneberg serves as town hall for Tempelhof-Schöneberg, a borough of Berlin, Germany. Its sandstone walls went up between 1911 and 1914, replacing the old town hall of Schöneberg, then a separate city outside Greater Berlin. West Berlin's state senate met there from 1949 to 1990, and its Governing Mayor had offices in the building from 1949 to 1991.
A bell given by the United States, the Freedom Bell, went into the rebuilt tower in 1950. The square outside became a rallying point during the Berlin Blockade, the 1953 uprising and the Hungarian Revolution three years later. After the Wall went up in 1961, President John F. Kennedy spoke from the building's steps on June 26, 1963, declaring "Ich bin ein Berliner".
Several thousand Berliners gathered at the square on the night Kennedy was assassinated; three days later it was renamed John-F.-Kennedy-Platz. A plaque at the entrance and the room above, looking over the square, commemorate his visit. Reunification brought the building back to borough use, and a 2001 reform made it the town hall of the new Tempelhof-Schöneberg. Since 2005 its exhibition hall has housed a show on Jewish lives in Schöneberg and Tempelhof under Nazi rule.
