  1. The three-peaked facade

The three-peaked facade carries the building's character. Print larger if you want the window rows and gable detail to read, or use Full detail with a fine nozzle.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Römer is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Römer takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Römer

The Römer is a medieval building in Frankfurt's Altstadt and among Frankfurt's most important landmarks. Across from the Old St. Nicholas Church, it has served as Frankfurt's city hall for more than 600 years. In 1405 the Römer merchant family sold the building, with the Goldener Schwan, to the city council, which made it the city hall. Haus Römer is the middle of three buildings on the Römerberg plaza. The complex is also used for civil registration, with wedding rooms in Haus Löwenstein.

Over the centuries the complex grew as neighboring houses were bought and connected; eventually eleven houses formed a maze of stairs, yards and rooms. The current Neo-Gothic front dates from 1896. Allied bombing largely destroyed the Römer on March 22, 1944, and the rebuilt complex was reopened in 1955 by President Theodor Heuss. The facade was restored again in 1974 and 2005.

The three-story complex covers about 10,000 square meters and joins nine houses around six courtyards. Its famous three-peaked facade mixes medieval detail with early 20th-century design: the Haus Römer shows four Holy Roman Emperors, two city coats of arms and a clock face. Above the Römerhalle, the Kaisersaal holds a collection of 19th-century portraits of emperors and once hosted coronation banquets.
