Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. West front and rose window

The layered west front and its rose window carry the finest detail. Print friendly adapts small parts to the print scale; a larger print or a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps them readable.

  2. Bell tower at height

The bell tower rises well above the roofline and is the most fragile vertical element. Print slowly with good cooling so the narrow upper stages stay clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont

Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is a Catholic church on the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève in Paris's 5th arrondissement, near the Panthéon. It holds St. Geneviève's shrine — she is the patron saint of Paris — as well as the burial places of Blaise Pascal and of Jean Racine. Jean-Paul Marat lies in the cemetery. The present building replaced an earlier church on the same hill, and work on a larger new church began after the monks of Sainte-Geneviève donated land for the site in 1492.

The church mixes Flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance work. Stephen Viguier planned the apse and bell tower in 1494; the choir was finished in 1537, and the nave, in Renaissance style, was completed in 1584. The west facade went up from 1610, designed from a drawing by Claude Guérin, and takes the form of an elongated pyramid in three levels, with a Gothic rose window at the center of its second level. The church was consecrated on February 25, 1626.

Inside, the church has the proportions of a large hall, sixty-nine m long and 25.5 m wide, with unusually high side aisles and large windows. Its most unusual feature is the jubé, or rood screen, made around 1530 and described as the only surviving example in Paris; its purpose is Gothic, while its decoration is French Renaissance. The nave also curves slightly toward the transept because the site is irregular. An organ case from 1631 is the oldest in the capital.
