Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A long church at print scale

The church is long rather than tall, so the apse and the facade are the parts to watch at the default print size. Print larger, or keep Full detail, to hold the buttresses and portals.

  2. Layers for Gothic detail

Set the slicer to 0.12–0.16 mm layers and print slowly, so the flying buttresses and the carved portals stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Église Saint-Eustache is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Église Saint-Eustache takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Église Saint-Eustache

Église Saint-Eustache stands in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, near the old marketplace site of Les Halles and near rue Montorgueil. Only Notre-Dame is a larger church in the city. Its structure is Flamboyant Gothic, while Renaissance and classical work fills the interior, so the building reads as several styles at once.

A chapel dedicated to Saint Agnes went up on the site in 1213, paid for by Jean Alais, a Les Halles merchant, and the church took the name Saint-Eustache in 1303. Work on the present church started in 1532, in the reign of François I; Jean-François de Gondi, then Archbishop of Paris, consecrated it in 1637, and work was not complete until 1640. Two chapels added in 1655 weakened the structure, and the facade was rebuilt in 1754 under Jean Mansart de Jouy.

Outside, Flamboyant Gothic flying buttresses wrap the apse, while the unfinished principal facade is classical, with paired Ionic columns above Doric ones; the south portals carry Renaissance carving, and above the pointed arch a carved deer holds a crucifix in its antlers. Inside, the church runs 105 m in length and rises 33.45 m to the vaulting. Louis XIV made his first communion here in 1649, Molière was baptized and married here, and Mozart held his mother's funeral in the church.
