Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Compact at the default size

This church model is fairly compact in the default scene, so a larger print size helps its outline and smaller details read clearly.

  2. Fine layers for the front

Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers so vertical edges and small details stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais

Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais is a Roman Catholic parish church in Paris's 4th arrondissement, beside Place Saint-Gervais in the Marais, east of the Hôtel de Ville. Construction of the present church ran from 1494 to 1657, replacing two earlier churches on the site. Its facade was the last part finished and became Paris's first example of French Baroque design.

The site's first church, dedicated to the martyrs Gervasius and Protasius, is recorded there in the 7th century, among the earliest parish churches on Paris's right bank. Boatmen and fishermen made up most of its congregation, since it stood close to the Place de Grève river port. It stands on a slight rise, the Monceau Saint-Gervais, chosen as protection from Seine floods. A larger church followed in the early 13th century.

Construction began in the Gothic style in 1494, though wars of religion and a shortage of money delayed the work. The apse chapels were completed in 1530, and the transept followed in 1578. Salomon de Brosse designed the facade, whose first stone was laid by the young Louis XIII in 1616; it stacks Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian columns. Louis Couperin and his nephew François were among its organists, and the organ they played is still inside. In 1918 a shell from the Paris Gun struck during a Good Friday service, killing 91 people and wounding 68. In 1975 the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem made it their headquarters.
