Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Fine detail on the front

The church has a wide front with small architectural detail. Printing larger keeps that detail legible, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers give the vertical lines a clean edge.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul

Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is a church in Paris's 10th arrondissement, dedicated to Saint Vincent de Paul, and the neighborhood named Quartier Saint-Vincent-de-Paul takes its name from it. It went up from 1824 to 1844 on the site of an older priory of Saint-Lazare, where Vincent de Paul had founded the Priests of the Mission congregation, also called the Lazarists. Jacques-Ignace Hittorff completed the building, which is Neo-classical in style.

Jean-Baptiste Lepère drew up the design and started work; the first stone went down in August 1824. Progress was slow and stopped more than once, especially when money ran short after the 1830 Revolution. Jacques Hittorff, Lepère's son-in-law, took charge in 1831, altered the plans and added two bell towers. Worship began on October 25, 1844.

A long stairway climbs to the church above Place Franz Liszt, and two ramps that once carried carriages to the front have become gardens. Twelve classical columns with Ionic capitals line the portico, one for each Apostle, and Charles-François Leboeuf-Nanteuil carved the high-relief scene of Saint Vincent de Paul's glorification in the triangular pediment. Shells hit the building during the Paris Commune. Its great organ, made by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll in 1852, was restored and enlarged in 1970.
