Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Arcaded ramps and parapets

The curved ramps carry long arcades and pierced parapets, the finest repeated detail in this model. Print friendly adapts them; Full detail keeps the arch openings for a larger print.

  2. Crown above the dome

The crown and cross sit above a low dome. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a slightly larger print help the open crown and its cross stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes

This Catholic shrine and pilgrimage site in Lourdes, Hautes-Pyrénées, France, is centered on the grotto of Massabielle. Several religious buildings and monuments cluster around the grotto. Three of them hold the rank of basilica: the Immaculate Conception, known as the upper basilica; the Rosary, the lower basilica; and St. Pius X, the underground basilica.

The story starts with Bernadette Soubirous, a 14-year-old peasant, and the visions she reported in 1858. She reported seeing a lady beside the Massabielle grotto on February 11; the spot lay on the Gave de Pau's left bank. By July 16 she had seen the figure 18 times, and she reported that it finally identified itself as the Immaculate Conception.

Sick and disabled pilgrims come here, drawn by the water that flows from the grotto and is reputed for miraculous healings. The grounds extend over 52 hectares (130 acres) and contain fountains, immersion baths, a processional esplanade, a calvary, and the Lourdes Medical Bureau. The Diocese of Tarbes-et-Lourdes owns and administers the site.
