About the Shemer Art Center and Museum

The Shemer Art Center and Museum, in Phoenix, Arizona, offers art education and has a gallery. Martha Shemer set it up in 1984 after buying a mission-style house on three acres, with the aim of keeping the property and giving it to the City of Phoenix for art education.

Budget constraints in 2010 nearly shut the center. In response, a group of citizens founded an association bearing the center's name, which helps manage and preserve the facility. Among the Phoenix Points of Pride is the Shemer Art Center and Museum.

Tile roofs and small courtyards
The building is low and spread out, with tiled roofs, small courtyards and a covered porch. A larger print size keeps those details, and Full detail suits a fine nozzle and thin layers.
One piece with the ground
The Shemer Art Center and Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Shemer Art Center and Museum takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
