Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Museum detail at print scale

At small print sizes the museum's finer detail softens first. Print it larger, or choose Full detail, with 0.12–0.16 mm layers.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Stasimuseum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Stasimuseum takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Stasimuseum

The Stasimuseum is a research and memorial center devoted to the political system in the former East Germany. The museum is housed in the Stasi's former headquarters on Ruschestraße in Berlin's Lichtenberg locality; the ministry's official name was the Ministerium für Staatssicherheit. Frankfurter Allee and the U-Bahn station Magdalenenstraße are nearby.

The exhibition centers on Erich Mielke's office and working quarters; he was the former Minister of State Security and head of the Stasi. Its operator, ASTAK, is the Antistalinistische Aktion Berlin-Normannenstraße, which civil rights activists founded in Berlin in 1990. The museum's mission covers collecting, preserving, documenting, rehabilitating and exhibiting evidence and research materials about East Germany.

The German government announced in 2010 that it intended to take over the museum, prompting a three-way dispute involving ASTAK, the Lichtenberg local government and the national government. ASTAK then announced that Building 1, the museum's original home, would be reconstructed and renovated, and that the museum would move temporarily to Building 22.
