3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small parts at station scale
A station is a compact subject at print scale. Print friendly adapts the smallest parts; a larger print and 0.12–0.16 mm layers help the detail survive.
- Slow down on small parts
Small parts print cleaner when the printer runs slowly with good cooling.
- One piece with the ground
Sugamo Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Sugamo Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Sugamo Station
Sugamo Station is a railway station serving Toshima in Tokyo, Japan, and two companies run it. The Yamanote Line and the Toei Mita Line serve it, and the station is operated by JR East and Toei Subway. The station opened on April 1, 1903, and in 2016 it was assigned the station number JY11.
Fiscal 2013 saw platform edge doors added to the Yamanote Line platforms. North of the station is Jizō-dōri, a long shopping street popular with older women; people call the area "Harajuku for Grannies." The station is an interchange, where the JR East and Toei Subway networks meet and passengers can change trains.
About this model
Sugamo Station is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
