Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A tall tower

With 60 stories, this is a tall tower. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps vertical detail crisp, and printing slowly with good cooling helps the upper floors.

  2. One piece with the ground

Sunshine 60 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Sunshine 60 takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Sunshine 60

Sunshine 60 is a mixed-use skyscraper of 60 stories in Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo, beside the Sunshine City complex. Completed in 1978, the building rises 239.7 m (787 ft) and was then the tallest in Asia; the 63 Building in Seoul surpassed it in 1985. It also stood as the tallest building in Tokyo and in Japan until 1991, when the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building was finished.

Until the Yokohama Landmark Tower opened in 1993, its elevators were the world's fastest, moving at 600 meters per minute (2,000 ft/min). The observation deck on the 60th floor offers views reaching 100 km on a clear day. Floors 1 through 9 hold commercial space, offices fill floors 10 through 57, and restaurants occupy the 58th and 59th floors.

The upper tower has a steel skeleton fitted with "slitted shear walls" between the columns in the core, which let the walls follow the deformations that earthquakes and wind shear cause in the frame. The building rises over the site of Sugamo Prison, which had been destroyed. Mitsubishi Estate is named as its architect.

About this model

Sunshine 60 is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
