About The D Las Vegas

The D Las Vegas is a hotel and casino with 34 stories and 639 rooms in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It sits at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience, and it was formerly known as Fitzgeralds. The casino covers 42,000 square feet (3,900 m2), with 22 table games and more than 1,000 slot machines, across two floors. The property also has a pool, a business center, and a number of restaurants.

The building opened as the Sundance Hotel on July 2, 1980. In 1987 it was sold and renamed Fitzgeralds Las Vegas, with a "luck of the Irish" theme of shamrocks and a leprechaun. Brothers Derek and Greg Stevens bought it in October 2011, and a $22 million renovation and rebranding, finished in fall 2012, replaced the Irish theme.

The D in the name is short for "downtown", and it is also a nod to Derek Stevens' nickname and to Detroit, the Stevens' hometown. Longbar, one of the property's three bars, is said to be Nevada's longest bar, at just fewer than 100 feet. Starting in late 2013 it was the first casino anywhere to take bitcoin for its hotel rooms, its restaurants and its gift shop.

Tall slab with a low wing
The tower is a narrow slab rising from a wider, lower wing, and its facade has fine vertical ribbing. Print friendly smooths the finest ribs; Full detail keeps them at larger sizes and a finer layer height.
One piece with the ground
The D Las Vegas is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The D Las Vegas takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
