About the The Palazzo
The Palazzo is a luxury casino and hotel resort in Paradise, Nevada, along the Las Vegas Strip, and it is sometimes called The Palazzo at The Venetian. It belongs to a larger complex, run as a single hotel, that also takes in the neighboring Venetian resort and the Venetian Expo; the complex is the world's third-largest hotel. Las Vegas Sands built it as a companion to the Venetian, which dates from 1999.
Foundation work started in September 2004, and the resort opened in stages, beginning with a soft opening of the casino on December 30, 2007. It cost $1.9 billion. HKS Architects designed it as a green building, with only a light Italian theme and a more modern look than the Venetian. In 2008 the U.S. Green Building Council gave it Silver LEED certification, which made it the world's largest LEED-certified building.
Its hotel tower has 50 stories and stands 196 meters (642 ft) tall; for a short time after opening it was the tallest building in Nevada. Inside are 3,066 suites, a casino with 9,800 m2 (105,000 sq ft) of gaming space, the Grand Canal Shoppes at 81,300 m2 (875,000 sq ft), and a theater seating 1,800. Digging for a 4,400-space parking garage below ground took 13 months and went nearly 70 feet down.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |

- Fine ribs on a tall tower
- The curved tower is covered in fine vertical window lines. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep them crisp, and a larger print size keeps the lines distinct.
- Stepped crowns and round roofs
- The tower ends in several stepped tops, and the podium carries small round roof structures. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them all on larger prints.
- One piece with the ground
- The The Palazzo is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The The Palazzo takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
The The Palazzo is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a The Palazzo STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. The The Palazzo grows with the print: about 50 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
