200 m of Tour Incity, 54 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Thin mast above the crown
A slender mast rises above the sloped roof. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps it on larger prints. Print slowly with good cooling so the thin tip stays clean.
- Fine vertical glazing lines
The tower's tall faces carry fine vertical lines. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Tour Incity is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tour Incity takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Tour Incity
Tour Incity, an office skyscraper in Lyon's La Part-Dieu district, stands at the intersection of Rue Garibaldi and Cours Lafayette. It reaches 200 m (660 ft) across 39 floors, and no other building in the Greater Lyon area is taller. Its full height comes from a spire, or mast, on top.
Work on the tower began on April 11, 2013, and construction took place between 2013 and 2015. The former UAP Tower, torn down in 2012, stood on the site before it. Valode & Pistre, a French architecture firm, designed it. The building weighs 90,000 tonnes and was described as the first Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE) city center tower in France.
News coverage of January 25, 2008 reported the project, announced by Lyon's mayor Gérard Collomb, as a fifth tower for the Part-Dieu business center. Within the offices, 18 levels go to SNCF's Regional Express Transport department, while the remainder hold the head office of Caisse d'Épargne Rhône-Alpes. Metro, tramways T1, T3 and T4, and the Rhônexpress airport tram-train all connect the tower to the city.
About this model
Tour Incity is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
