Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slim top at print scale

The tower is tall, so the upper floors print in a small area. Print slowly with good cooling, and use layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm to keep the vertical lines crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

Tower 185 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tower 185 takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Tower 185

Tower 185 is an office skyscraper in Frankfurt's Gallus district, Germany. It reaches 200 m (660 ft) to the top and has 55 stories. PricewaterhouseCoopers' German branch office is the anchor tenant, leasing 60,000 square meters (650,000 sq ft) in the building. Christoph Mäckler produced the final plan for the tower.

The tower was first planned at 185 m (607 ft) and 50 stories. Mäckler's final design raised it to 200 m (660 ft), but the name stayed, so it is still called Tower 185. The finished height is therefore 200 m (660 ft), while the name still points to the original 185 m (607 ft). In 2023, when Germany applied to have Frankfurt chosen as the seat of the EU's anti-money-laundering authority, Tower 185 was one of three sites put forward as a possible location for the agency, alongside Messeturm. The building opened in 2011, and Strategy& is another occupant of its office space.
