Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Facade and roofline
A Baroque palace reads through its facade and roofline. Print friendly adapts small parts to the print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps them clearer.
- One piece with the ground
Troja Palace is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Troja Palace takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Troja Palace
Troja Palace, or Zámek Troja in Czech, is a Baroque palace in Troja, in the northwest borough of Prague. The Counts of Sternberg had it built between 1679 and 1691. The city of Prague owns the palace, which holds the City Gallery's collection of 19th-century Czech art.
French and Italian architecture shaped the design, which is mostly the work of the French architect Jean Baptiste Mathey. Domenico Orsi had worked on the castle before him, and Silvestro Carlone was the master builder. Johann Georg and Paul Heermann, sculptors from Dresden, made the garden stairs, with statues of gods and giants fighting. The terrace displays a rare collection of vases by Bombelli. The garden's central axis points toward the spires of St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle.
The main room has a Baroque decoration of the Habsburg apotheosis, full of mythological figures in trompe-l'œil. The Antwerp painters Abraham and Izaak Godijn began the work in 1690, and the paintings count as some of Northern Europe's best Baroque fresco work. The Czechoslovak state bought the palace in 1922 and began a restoration in the seventies.
